In a not so distant future mankind had destroyed all natural ressources on the planet. Too late we realized, that all life was spawned and dependant on one single fruit: The banana, which kept the secret to life itself written into its DNA .
In the golden ages man knew about this, but after generations of decadence and hedonism that knowledge was lost… And after the last banana was sold on eBay to be used for a daiquiri, it was almost too late.

In a desperate attempt to save humanity the leaders of all free countries decided to start a billion dollar rescue mission. It only seemed logical to send the last remaining specimen of the natural hunter of the banana into space to search for the source.

The monkeys were trained by the best of their trade. Their whole lifes narrowed down to that one crucial mission.
On the day they were sent off into space, mankind stayed behind with only their hope left to hold on to.

For years the monkeys were searching in the darkness until finaly one day they found it. But after relying on banana flavoured tofu alone for so long, all that training was forgotten in that instant as they spotted the incredibly delicious Space Bananas.

So they lost control and by thus brought upon them their demise as well as upon all humanity.
And this was the end.

So what have we learned?
Well, nothing much, but one particular thing:

No matter what you do to it, a monkey is still a monkey.

It started as a skull with no particular concept in mind and ended up like …well, you see.

It´s very messy in it´s details but I like the idea and will try and redo it in watercolor when I find the time.

Quick sketch to loosen up in the morning. About half an hour of photoshop.

I like the thought, that if you take pride in what you do, it shows.

I like a girl with a little attitude.

… and believe it or not, but there´s no green in this image. It´s all just reds and yellows and some tricks to fool your eyes.

And as you can see I detailed the face a lot more than I usually do (…did?). This was necessary, as it is a well known fact, that beautiful girls require a lot of attention.

Actually this started out as an Illustration, portraying a chick and her pet. But the chick turned out real bad and so she got scrapped.
And all that remains is a tiger.

We take what we want and couldn´t care less if someone else needs it more.

Although it is phrased as a question, it really isn´t one, is it?

Christmas. Perfect time to pray for a little divine intervention.

And yes, I´m 100% positive, that angels are highly reflective and tend to strike awkward poses when they attack.. at least the ones, that I´ve seen.

The concept is contrast.

Contrast in symmetry, saturation, size, weight, expression, light and shadow… In fact, take every item and give it a counterpart. Disect it or tear it apart, but bring it back together as a whole.
Basically, that´s all there is to it.
