Today, for a change, let us depict beauty.

After Inquisitors, monsters, daemons and fat babies I felt like creating something nice.
She´s not finished yet, but displayable as I feel.

Shave and a Hairfuck is giving me a real hard time on my Hackintosh. That´s why the hair is still looking like Rübezahl. It´s running nice on windows but on OSX it´s bitching worse than a teenage queen during her period.
There are some other issues, but most of them minor, so the hair is my main focus now.

And I know, the flowers are cheesy, but it needed some kind of framing and after about 10 system crashs I opted for the quick solution.

This one happened some time ago, but as I saw the spot on TV yesterday for the first time, I got reminded of posting it. Modelled in maya after a concept by the great Heri Irawan.

Took less than a day to finish, including the rigging. That´s what I love about cartoon characters. And I also reused the skateboard from an earlier project.
It´s all about efficiency, baby!

This is the mean guy of the game as you can see by his scary metal hand. Character Design by Piranha Bytes.
Modelled in Maya and Zbrush and rendered in my trusty Mental Ray.

Stefan and I finished this rendering in a horrible  session on a public holiday, about 5 minutes before it got to print. I wish we could have spent a bit more time on it, but that´s the way things go and sometimes good enough is just that.
